Without a doubt, Google’s email service is one of the most used ones. Here you can learn how to forward emails from your Google email account to the Helpmonks mailbox address.
Get your mailbox email address
Grab the mailbox email address and copy it. This is the email address you will forward emails to. Once done, sign in to your Google email account.
Configure forwarding in your Google Email Account
Go to your Settings (click on the Gear icon in the right corner and select Settings).
Within the Settings, navigate to “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” and click on the “Add a forwarding address” button.
In the popup window paste, the Helpmonks mailbox email address that you copied earlier (step one above) and confirm. In the following screen, you will be asked to confirm. Simply hit “OK” and the window will ask you to confirm with a code.
Now, head back to your Helpmonks account and hit refresh until you receive the confirmation email from Google. The message will look somewhat familiar to the one shown in the screenshot below. Copy the confirmation number and enter it in the confirmation box in the Google settings.
Back in the Forwarding and POP/IMAP setting make sure that the forwarding is selected as shown in the screenshot below. Click on “Save” to update your settings.
Once the forwarding is set up please do not reply to your email in your Google account anymore, but exclusively handle them in Helpmonks, e.g. in your email client.
