Archived vs. Closed

What is the intended difference and usage of Archived vs. Closed?

The status ‘Closed’ is used to indicate that the sender’s query has been addressed, and that no further work is required on that email. In addition, Helpmonks’ reports work with the ‘Closed’ status to track the length of time taken to resolve an email query.

An email with a status of ‘Archived’ indicates an email that should be kept within Helpmonks for reference purposes, but may not be relevant for anyone’s current day activities.
